You typically have only 7 -10 days to request an administrative hearing.

Additionally you will be required to pay a license reinstatement fee and depending on your offense you may be required to have an Ignition Interlock Device (IID) installed in your vehicle.

What if I fail to maintain my SR22 insurance policy?

By law your insurance provider is required to notify the Kansas DMV immediately when there has been a lapse in an SR22 insurance policy. How do I avoid a lapse in my coverage?

Pay your SR22 policy premium well in advance. 60 days in advance is suggested, however find a time period that works best for you and your budget and remember not to pay your premium late.
