Massachusetts license suspension hearings with a Hearing Officer are held daily at the following locations:
- Boston: from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Brockton: from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm., Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This same principle applies to an SR22 insurance policy, however with some possible consequences if a driver is pulled over without proof of SR22 insurance and they are required to have it. These adverse repercussions may include but are not limited to:
- A possible jail sentence for not complying with reinstatement policies
- A vehicle's registration being suspended or revoked (cancelled)
- In some cases an immediate suspension, revocation, cancellation of a driver's license
